Delicate ferns unfurl across this 100% wool crown, hand stitched in green embroidery, the fronds sprinkled with tiny blush flower buds, an ode to the quiet resilience of wild things. Inside, a soft green polycotton lining offers comfort and contrast, like moss beneath bracken. Inspired by local woodlands, handmade in the Vale of Glamorgan, this piece carries the spirit of Gorse and Gossamer: rooted in nature, stitched with story, and ready to wander.
Size: 21”
Fabric Story:
This hats main fabric was made using fabric remnants. Utilising remnants helps reduce textile waste and gives new life to beautiful offcuts that might otherwise be discarded by textile companies and the like. It's a gentle choice for the planet - less resource use, more creative use.
The hats lining was crafted from fabric chosen for its character and quality that has been carefully salvaged from clothing and accessories, reclaimed and repurposed responsibly.

Main Fabric: 100% Wool

I recommend measuring the intended wearer’s head circumference before choosing a size, as every head is beautifully unique, and the right fit makes all the difference.
